Thank you for checking out my personal blog! This is something I’ve thought about creating for a longtime but I never thought I was interesting enough to have readers…but here I am…doing it anyways…because I want to! While I am new to blogging, I’m not new to uplifting people and encouraging them to be the best version of themselves. I find it a passion of mine to make others feel good about themselves and that is my purpose here.

The reason I started today, July 13, 2020, is because while we are in the midst of a pandemic with COVID-19, we are also dealing with other things around the US like protests (many peaceful), riots, hatred toward others. Oh! And let’s not forget that it’s an election year and there is fake news all over the place! Everyone has their own agenda in mind. With so much negativity being shared across social media, I began to feel angered just reading some of the things. So, today I woke up and wrote down five things I am grateful for, ten dreams I made happen, read my Bible and prayed. It was during my prayer time that it hit me…I want to be an Instagram Encourager (a play on words for an “Instagram Influencer”). An Encourager for all things in life…I want to encourage people in this world that no matter where they are in this life today, that they can be Fit2B Kind, Fit2B Compassionate, Fit2B Happy. Hence, my blog title: “Fit2B” … leaving a space for you to CHOOSE. Fit2B Healthy. Fit2B Faith-filled. Fit2B Fearless. Fit2B a present Mom. Fit2B a loving Wife. We are Fit2B anything we desire to be. How do we get where we want to go? If you’re a believer in Christ like I am, then it’s time in prayer coupled with a lot of grit, hard work and belief in yourself. My faith is something I believe wholeheartedly keeps me going in life and shows me grace along the way (grace that most of the time I find hard to acknowledge and accept but hey, I’m not perfect). Do I talk about Jesus every chance I get? No, I forget more times than not. Do I read my Bible every day? No, I struggle like most of us. Do I accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior? Absolutely, unapologetically, YES! This is what matters and this is what keeps me going. This is what helps me from contributing to all the hatred I see on social media. By me loving Jesus, I can find compassion for others.

I hope you will continue to read my blog as I grow and learn more about what I want to say through my own lens.

Talk Soon,

Meaghan
